Abstract

Los pioneros adventistas articularon la teología adventista en torno al papel de Cristo en el contexto del santuario celestial. Más recientemente, sin embargo, el adventismo ha sido testigo de un intento de articular su teología en torno a la comprensión evangélica de la justificación por la fe. El desafío más importante en este sentido ha venido de los escritos y presentaciones de Desmond Ford. Este artículo brevemente explora la forma en que Ford articula su teología y el desafío que su punto de vista representa para la doctrina del santuario. También incluye algunas observaciones críticas con respecto a la posición de Ford.

Author Biography

Roy E Graf Maiorov, Faculty of Theology, Peruvian Union University

Originally from Argentina, graduated as a Profesor of Music in Buenos Aires (1993), with a License in Theology from the Universidad Adventista del Plata, Entre Ríos, Argentina (1999), as a Master in Theology (with an emphasis in Biblical Studies) from the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS), Silang, Cavite, Philippines (2017). Currently serves as a profesor in the Faculty of Theology at Peruvian Union University (Universidad Peruana Unión). Has also been involved in editorial work and research. His area of concentration is in Systematic Theology and Theological Research.
