Abstract

The Bible says that wisdom is the knowledge of God (theology) —the will of God —put into practice. However, what are the implications of this statement in view of what God in Christ has done and is doing for us as intercessor and advocate? What should be our response in practical terms as theologians, pastors, and members of the Seventh-day Adventist church? How does following the example of Jesus in doing good as our intercessor should look like? This article proposes that mission theology for the last days has much to do with this biblical wisdom put into practice for the benefit of those we want to witness, heal, and save. As such, this must be a practical theology that is charitable and redemptive, and that is consistently translated into words that heal and save, and into deeds that are compassionate and transformational.
