El autor, doctor en Teología con especialidad en
Antiguo Testamento por la Universidad Adventista del
Plata, Argentina, se desempeña como profesor de Antiguo
Testamento en el Adventist International Institute
of Advanced Studies, Filipinas.
En esta obra que consta de 12 capítulos, 22 cuadros
y diagramas, un glosario de tecnicismos teológicos
y una bibliografía selecta, Mora ofrece un comentario
detallado a los capítulos 10 al 12 del libro
de Daniel que constituyen, como afirma William H.
Shea, “una parte importante y, con frecuencia, mal
comprendida del libro de Daniel” (Contratapa). Por
ello, Mora presta atención a cada detalle en el idioma
original, el hebreo; iluminando su significado a través
de estructuras literarias y subrayando las palabras clave
del texto bíblico.
