Abstract

Entre los diversos reformadores religiosos y educativos del siglo XVI (Erasmo, Lutero, Melanchton, Calvino , Knox , Layola), Lutero fue sin duda el más en érgico y emprendedor. Un breve bosquejo histórico de su vida resulta indispensable para poder comprender el impacto de sus ideas sobre la vida de su época y de la nuestra. El artículo expone, los antecedentes familiares y educativos de Lutero, así como el panoramoa educativo del tiempo de la reforma y la opinión de Lutero sobre las escuelas y profesores de su tiempo. El desarrollo histórico del concepto educativo de Lutero, el llugar del hogar en el concepto de Lutero sobre la educación, el curriculo de la reforma y la evaluación de esas ideas desde una perspectiva moderna.
